Bill is an original team member of Axial Financial Group, who started his career in finance at Smith Barney. Bill, originally from Hamilton, MA, grew up around small business from the start, first with his grandparents furniture store and then with his father’s music store. Working side by side with his grandparents and his father instilled in him not only the worth of a dollar but also hard work, perseverance, and commitment.
Bill is a graduate of Merrimack College’s Girard School of Business and has also received Merrimack’s Certificate of Advanced Study in Financial Planning. In addition, Bill is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, Certified Retirement Counselor® certificant, Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designee, and he holds FINRA, Series 7 and 66 securities registrations (held through Commonwealth Financial Network), as well as State Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses. Bill is constantly adding to his professional designations, as he is always looking to further his knowledge.
Bill, who is now the Wealth Management Director of Axial’s Cape Cod Office, now resides in Sagamore Beach with his wife Brittany and their two children, Will IV and Jack.
Bill is an active member in his community by volunteering with local non-profits. He serves as a board member for the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts and Partner Chair, board member of the Estate Planning Council of Cape Cod, and President Elect of the Bourne-Sandwich Rotary. Bill has also served on the Finance Committee for the Town of Bourne from 2013 to 2015, CCYP Executive Committee in 2015 and, CCYP Board of Directors from 2013 to 2016. Furthermore, Bill is a two time recipient of the “Five Star Wealth Manager”** distinction awarded to him in both 2015 and 2018 and a 2014 recipient of the “Cape & Plymouth Business™ 40 under 40 Award”.*
Bill enjoys helping clients properly implement sound retirement/goal oriented saving strategies, retirement income funding solutions, and generational wealth planning. Bill spends a lot of his time helping his clients plan for financial success as well as serving his community; however, he always finds the time for beach days in the summer with his family, golf with friends, and fishing trips with his father.
